Icelandic Student Services operates three preschools, of which two are in the residence hall area.

• Sólgarður, at Eggertsgata 8, has three departments and is for children aged six months to two years.Sólgarður is located at the Vetrargarður residence hall, with full-day spaces for 51 children. • Mánagarður, at Eggertsgata 34, has three departments and is for children aged one to six years. Situated in the Ásgarðar quarter, Mánagarður has 65 full-day spaces and is owned by the City of Reykjavík and Icelandic Student Services.While Icelandic Student Services is in charge of operations, applications for admittance are made to Reykjavik Preschools, Tel. 563 5800, website www.leikskolar.is. • Leikgarður, by Eggertsgata 14, has three departments and is for children from the age of 6 monts. Applications for admittance are taken by phone or email. The Director of Leikgarður Preschool is Íris Arnardóttir. The phone number is 551 8560 and email address leikgardur@fs.is
